Avondale

The Avondale project involves converting a 600 sf artist studio and greenhouse into an office for a Family Foundation. The simple Japanese-inspired building blends into a mature landscape near the Huntington Library in San Marino. LAUN Studio took care to maintain the material palette of the mid-century structure while updating the millwork, bathroom, kitchenette and conference room for the office environment.
